Micromax A110 vivid color in Stock Rom V2 Like V1

Here is a tutorial to install vivid color in Micromax A110 V2 Rom. New update Stock Rom V2 comes with fated color.

Micromax A110 new update comes without vivid color like V2 Rom. Vivid color means rich color combination it makes canvas 2 different from other phone. So it must be install in Canvas 2. but we have solution of it. Stock Rom V2 update has fated color. Micromax release new update without rich color these called vivid color. These color make this phone different as compare to other phone. We have to solution of this problem and make Stock Rom V2 with Vivid color.

Preparation of flash or update:

1. Take a backup of your phone Click here.
2. Your phone battery should charge 80% minimum.
3. Make sure proper power backup of your PC.
4. Read all steps then do it careful.

How to install Micromax A110 Stock Rom V1 vivid color in Stock Rom V2:

Step 1: Install drivers in your PC (If you feel any problem in install driver  and Enable USB Debugging on your Phone. Go to Settings >>> Developer options >>> USB debugging check it ( If your phone have Android 4.2 or upper version then see how to enable Developer options here is guide of this Click here). After then switch off your phone.

Step 2: Download and Extract the Stock ROM folder and uboot_S9081.bin and DSP_BL, where you want then Replace uboot_S9081.bin and DSP_BL files with Rom folder original file.

Step 3: Extract and open the SP Tool. Sptool.exe Run as Administrator

Step 4: Click on Scatter-Loading option.

Step 5: SpTool ask you the location of the scatter file in your PC. You will find it in the extracted Stock ROM folder. Now go to the Rom folder and select the file “Android_scatter_emmc.txt” which is our scatter file.

Note: If you don’t want to install full Rom then select only uboot_S9081.bin and DSP_BL files then click on Download.See in this picture.

Step 6: Now click on Download.

Step 7: Connect your switch off phone with PC via USB cable  (Make sure your phone is switched off).

Step 8: SP Tool detect your phone and process will start. If Sptool is not recognize/detect your phone then install vcom driver read this post it will help you click here (Driver already in phone flash drive if you don’t have these drivers then install it)

Step 9: Now start downloading Stock Rom in your phone by flashing

Note: Don’t interrupt this process as it can potentially brick your device. Make sure no power interruption takes place.

Step 10:  After the process complete, a green ring will appear.

Step 11: Disconnect your phone. Now your phone is updated. If you feel any problem of flashing or update your phone then watch this video:

After update you can root your Canvas 4 because root gives us a power to use maximum of your phone without any restrictions. After root you will install custom Rom, custom setting and apps in your phone. but first you read Root Advantage and Disadvantage then follow these Root guide “How to Root Micromax A110 ”.

    3. Thanks for the reply and thank you for clearing my doubt. I had Jelly bean ROM and my screen colors are dull compared to one of my friend's display so I thought this may be due to the ROM difference.
      Will this solution work on my device. Can you help me? when I compare the two phones I see a huge difference.

    5. Sorry, I was still struggling with rooting my device. Finally rooted today. :)

      1. No, I did not try vivid color yet. If I flash this file to Jelly Bean will it work? because in the title it says V2. Is there a chance of bricking?
      2. I tried adjusting the brightness level. There is no problem with the brightness only the colors look very dull

    6. OK, I just flashed the vivid color and I feel there is a slight improvement although I am not sure. I should compare it first. But the screen is now lagging when displaying animations i.e. the animations are not smooth there is a little lag.

    I Was Supposed To Upgrade My ROM From Stock ICS V1 To V2…
    And Before I Did That I Saw This Post Of Yours… And I Flashed V2 After Making The Changes… Like After Replacing The Files Directly Reached Vivid Display Without Seeing V2…
    So I Never Came To Know The Difference Between Display Of V2 And Vivid Display Of V1…

      V2 have faded color
      V1 have true color we told vivid color

      but my Question is why are you not update Jelly Bean V3?

      Disconnect your WiFi or data connection when didn't use net

    6. Fine. Thanks for your valuable patience and time. I don't have the copy of v2 rom. I just want to change the vividness. Will this method work if I just have the scatter file of v2 rom?. If yes, can you plz mail the scatter file of v2( just scatter file). My mail I'd is [email protected]. It would be very helpful for me. Instead of downloading the entire v2 rom, scatter file will be enough for me. Thanks in advance.

      V1 have vivid color. These color make this phone out of world but v2 didn't have these quality of color. so Micromax release new phone with Stock Rom V2 + Vivid color.
      V2 Not have true color it is faded color.

  27. i am not able to install the drivers i have tried alot….and tell me after scattering d file i have to select only d two files if i dnt wanna reinstall d whole v2 rom…will it b any problem if i only select d only 2 files that u have said….reply asap…

    1. hi vineet

      install both driver from your phone. your phone have flash Drive, when you connect your phone to pc then one drive is flash drive. it have both driver version 86 & 64 bit.

      if u have 64bit windows then install both driver

      add scatter fie in SP tool

      connect your phone to PC then Switch off phone

      select both file in SP tool

      click Download & Dis connect your phone to PC
      and reconnect

      ur phone is found & install both file in your phone

      start your phone & enjoy Vivid display

      note :- take backup of your phone then do it
